N°2 | 1997 THE ITALIAN MUSEUM OF CAST IRON

The evolving of an idea into reality. When a passion for collecting is teamed with the collaboration of public administrations who, aware of the importance of restoring ancient urban décor objects, contribute to a greater or lesser degree by way of donations and acquisitions.

In 1991 the Museum was set up as an association and, while its collection grew larger, the first exhibitions were held, with documented recognition recorded in the press review. An exhibiting area is soon to be opened to the public, thanks to an arrangement with the Municipality of Longiano.
