Cast iron products in the 19th century International Exhibitions

On the occasion of the EXPO, to be inaugurated on May 1st in Milan, we thought we could use our archive materials as a source for a magazine issue dedicated to International Exhibitions, telling their story from their début through their consecration. Such great events have become a showcase in which the most significant innovations and discoveries could be displayed.

These were the places where people could satisfy their curiosity, but also major opportunities for producers and buyers to get into contact. If the Exhibitions that were set up between mid-Nineteenth century and First World War are still remembered today, it is because they presented the latest scientific and technical achievements. It was also the period in which artistic foundries multiplied and started a competition, all in learning from each other, and achieving amazing results.
